Current Opening: Assistant Teacher (Part-Time)

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89107

Pay: $14-$16/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Part-time, Monday–Friday, 2–6 PM (20 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher with daily activities, routines, and transitions

• Supervise children to keep them safe at all times

• Assist with meals, nap time, and classroom clean-up

• Help maintain a clean, organized, developmentally appropriate environment

• Follow Nevada childcare licensing health and safety requirements

• Communicate professionally with families

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Nevada Registry Career Ladder Level 2.1 or higher, or meet one of these pathways:

– Current CDA Credential, or 8 ECE college credits and 2,000 hours of direct experience

– High school diploma/GED, 120 hours of approved CKA training, and 2,000 hours of direct experience

– Level 2.2: 12 ECE college credits and 3,000 hours of direct experience

• Current CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain before starting)

• Able to pass a federal childcare background check

• Have a negative TB test
